Absolutely brilliant fun !  Denise ‘s class is always fun and her instructions are super clear.  The music and dances she chooses are always at exactly the right level - you can do it but you learn new steps and new combinations all the time. I have learnt such a lot and had a great time. Great exercise too!!

I’ve been going to Denise’s dance class since it  began in May ‘24. Having tried a couple of other line dancing classes I found this one very easy to follow and a lovely friendly class. I call it my happy hour. Line dancing is a great form of exercise and distressing no one judges you, it’s a fun evening out. Happy dancing everyone ❤️

Goring Stompers

The Stompers are at St. Mary`s Church Hall

It`s where each Wednesday eve we have a ball

Every week between six and seven

We feel like we`re in 7th heaven

Line dancing is our weekly  leisure

It gives all a lot of pleasure

So come on down and join our group

You won`t feel that you`re `in the soup`

Don`t be shy and have a go

Forget your age, just let it flow

Dance to music, it`s just such fun

Music and dance will keep you young

Denise our  teacher will keep things moving

I’ve really enjoyed these lessons, the hall is lovely and has a stage so easy to see and follow step / dance instruction.

I also love the fact that many Country & Western tracks are still played, and a few non Country keeps it interesting.

As a complete beginner I loved my first two line dancing classes with Goring Stompers.
Denise is a great teacher, explaining each routine before each song.

It was great fun, and definitely looking forward to my next class.
